Take on the Short Distance triathlon featuring 500m of swimming, 20 KM of cycling and 5 KM of running in the stunning city of distance.

Transition zone schedule to be confirmed

Opening of the transition zone: 12:15pm - 1:45pm

Re-opening of the transition zone : 3:40pm - 5:00pm

WHY RACE THE SHORT DISTANCE?

A fast race for experienced triathletes and a great challenge for those looking to test out a new sport.

RELAY

The Short race is open to relay teams. Two or three team members, three sports, one race. Take part with your training partners, friends, colleagues or family to complete your first Triathlon as a team.

SWIMMING

A   The race starts with the Jet d'Eau as a backdrop! All swimming starts are rolling starts !

You will dive to complete a 500m loop in the crystal clear waters of Lake Geneva .

Swimming time limits:

Each participant must have finished the swimming course before 2:40pm (i.e., 40 minutes).

CYCLING

20KM (148m elevation gain)

a brand new route for the cycling part, a single 20km loop will allow you to crisscross the Geneva countryside , passing through the mythical Cologny Ramp .

Time barriers for cycling:

Each participant must have finished the cycling course before 3:25 pm (i.e. 1 hour 40 minutes of running, and 1 hour of cycling at an average speed of 22 km/h).

RUNNING

5KM

Another notable change is that you will be starting on a 5km loop between the quays and the English Garden to enjoy the cheers of the audience.

Time limits for running:

Each participant must have finished the running course before 4:15 pm (i.e. 2h30 of running, and 50 of running at an average speed of 7.5km/h).
